Bid Announcement
Mekelle
University hereby needs to hire contractors and consultants for
construction and Supervision of building projects to be built in
Main and Adi-Haki campuses of Mekelle University, Mekelle, Tigray
Regional state.
1. All
consulting engineers and Architects of Grade IV and above are
invited for a bid a Design Review, Supervision and Contract
Administration for MUBP 30 with a contract number of
MUSS10.
2. All
consulting engineers and Architects of Grade III and above
are invited for a bid of Design Review, Supervision and Contract
Administration for MUBP20 & MUBP 36 with a contract
number of MUSS 11.
3. All
Grade IV Building or General contractors are invited for a
bid with Contract number of MUBP 32, MUBP 36 and MUBP 30.
4. All
Grade II Building or General Contractors are invited for a
bid with Contract number of MUBP 20.
5. The
contract and consultants should have a valid renewed license for
2001 E.C. and they should be VAT registered.
6. Bid
documents can be purchased from the University for a non refundable
fee of Contractors.
Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr only)
for each document of MUBP 30, MUBP 32 MUBP 36. The bid
document does not include drawings.
Birr 800 (Eight Hundred Birr only)
for each document of MUBP 20 . Drawing includes with the bid
document.
Consultants
Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr only)
for each document of MUSS 10 & MUSS 11.
7. Bid
Documents can be obtained from Room No. 11 management Building Main
Campus, Mekelle University, (MU), Mekelle, Ethiopia.
8. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after bid opening
and must be accompanied by a security of 1% (One percent) of the bid
amount but not exceeding Birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand) and
shall be delivered with the original technical proposal.
9. Closing
time for submission of bid will be at the end of 3:30 local time of
the 30th day to be counted for the date of announcement
of the tender and its opening time will be on the same day at 4:00
local time. If 30th day is not working day. The bid will
be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working
day.
10. Mekelle
University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the
bid.
