1. The
Education Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
intend to give consultancy service on ISO 9001:2000 QMS” though
international Competitive bid’s with EMPDE fund.
2. Detailed
information is stated in the bidding document which are obtainable
during working hours from the Purchasing Department of EMPDE, Room
No. 35 upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Birr 100.00 (One
Hundred Only) as of 29/12/2008.
3. Bidders
requiring bidding document by first class Air Mail should send a
Crossed Bank Draft of Birr 100.00 or an equivalent amount in foreign
currency drawn in favour of EMPDE, in addition to the price of the
document indicated in paragraph 3 EMPDE 11/2001-ICB/2008.
4. Bids
must be submitted, sealed and marked as: Tender No. EMPDE
11/2001-ICB/2008 for consultancy service on ISO 9001:2000 QMS” at
the address stated in paragraphs 6 below.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of 2% in the bid’s
currency & in the form of counter guaranteed Bank Guarantee or CPO
Cheque established though any Bank in Ethiopia, addressed to EMPDE,
P.O. Box 5549, Tel. 011-645 47 39 so as
to reach on or before Feb. 12, 2009 at 9:30 A.M.
6. Tender
Documents received on the said deadline will be publicly open in the
presence of bidders or their representatives at 10:00 A.M. on the same date.
7. The
Education Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
