Consulting Architects and Engineers of category 5 and above, with
renewed license valid for the year 2001 E.C.
Institute of
Biodiversity Conservation (IBC)
would like to carry out various construction activities to
strengthen the capacity of its two field Gene Banks located in
Western Harerge and Jimma Zones of the Oromia Regional States
through the financial assistance obtained form the European Union.
1. IBC
invites sealed bids form eligible bidders of Consulting Architects
and Engineers of category 5 and above with a certificate of
registration from the Ministry of Works and Urban Development
(MoWUD) and registered ton conduct design work.
2. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedure
contained in the public consultancy rules of the Ministry of Works
and Urban Development.
3. A
complete set of bid document can be purchased by any interested
eligible bidders from the date of first announcement upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr).
4. Bidders
should submit a written application, renewed license, Ministry of
Works and Urban Development certificate, trade license and tax
clearance certificate.
5. Bidders
are expected to deliver a bid security of Birr 3000 (Three Thousand
Birr) in cash, CPO or insurance guarantee.
6. The
bid will be closed at 5:00 PM of the 30th day of this
announcement, and will be opened on the next working day at 10:00
A.M. at IBC Conference Hall at the presences of bidders or their
representatives.
7. The
Institute of Biodiversity Conservation has
the right to reject any or all of the proposed bid.
8. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the followed
