Strengthening Regional Development Planning in
Oromia Region Project (SRDPO)
1. This
Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for the
Project that appeared in Development Activities, issue No. SRDPO/NCB/01/08.
2. Oromia
Finance and Economic Development Bureau (BOFED) has received fund
from the Italian Government toward the cost of Strengthening
Regional Development Planning in Oromia and it intends to apply part
of proceeds under the contract for Purchase of IT Equipments.
3. Oromia
Finance and Economic Development Bureau now invites sealed bids from
eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Delivery of IT
Equipment with Accessories. Bidders have the option to bid for one
or more lots.

4. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive Biding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines (May 2004).
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Oromia Finance
and Economic Development Bureau and inspect the Bidding Documents at
the address given below from 9:00
A.M. to 12:00 A.M. and 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.
(local time) Monday to Friday.
6. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
100.00 (Birr One Hundred only).
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before
10:00 A.M. on 12 January 2009
(local time). Bids will be opened
in the presence of the bidders’ or their representatives who choose
to attend in person at 10;30 A.M. (local time) on
12 January 2009.
8. All
bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” amount of 2% of the
offered Bid Price.
