1. The
Shire-Endaslassie city Administration has funds within the Urban
Local Government Development Project (ULGDP) budget to be used for
the procurement of Drainage construction project. Lot No.1. Cattle
Market, Lot No. 2 Aqualilo, Lot No.3 Kebele-03.
2. The
Shire-Endaslassie City Administration invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the provision of construction of drainage. The
work should be completed within 120 days for lot No.2 and 120 days
for Lot No.3 from the starting date of eth contract.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from
eligible source counties. Domestic contactors of category GC/RC-6
and above, with license valid for the year 2008/09 are eligible to
participate in the bid.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form Shire
Endaslassie City Municipal Office Tel. 0344-44 20 09 and inspect t
the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 8:30
A.M. to 12:30 P,.M. morning and 2:30
P.M. to 5:30 P.M. in the after noon local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders at the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of
a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 200 for each lot. The method
of payment will be in cash.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 2:0 P.M.
local time on January 23, 2009 and must be accompanied by bid
security of Ethiopian Birr 20,000 or an equal amount in a freely
convertible currency.
Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of
the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address
below at 7(d) at 2:30 local time on January 23, 2009.
