Invitation for Re-bids
1. Oromia
Regional Health Bureau has received a grant from the Italian
Government of Future, NCB/IC/HSDP/RHB/06/07(Re-bids).
2. Oromia
Regional Health Bureau now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the Supply of Furniture (Tables, Chairs and Book
Shelves) to the Regional Health Bureau.

3. Bidding
have no option to complete on individual items.
4. Bidding
will be conducted though the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines –Procurement
under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and the bid is open to all
bidders.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form the office of
Procurement Service, Oromia Regional Health Bureau, Room No. 39,
Tel. 011-551-08-08 ext. 228, 011-553-01-71 and inspect the bidding
documents from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and from 1:30 P.M. to 5:30
P.M. during the working days.
6. Qualifications
required: Legal-Bidders
must submit renewed Trade License for the year 2001 EC, VAT, TIN
registration certificate, Suppliers registration certificate and
other supporting letter/s form Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development such as whether they have paid the taxations for
Government, and also have to bring these requirement/s while
purchasing the tender document and when submitting offers and in
accordance with the Ethiopian Law.
A complete set of Bidding Documents
in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on
submission of a written application to the address mentioned below
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 50.00 (Fifty
Birr) only.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 3:00 P.M.
1/05/2001. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the
presence of the bidders or their representatives who want to attend
in person at the Procurement Service, Oromia Regional Health Bureau,
Room No. 39, on 1/05/2001 at 3:00 P.M.
8. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 1% of the bid amount
in a form of C.P.O. or unconditional Bank Guarantee from a reputable
Bank
9. The
Regional Health Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids.
