INVITATION FOR BIDS, ONE BOREHOLE
DRILLING
FOR MEKI PACK HOUSE WATER SUPPLY
1. The
Ethiopian Horticulture Produce. Exporters Association (EHPEA) has
received a grant from the Common for Vegetable Export Development in
Ethiopia and Sudan, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of
this grant to eligible payments under the contract for which this
invitation to bid is issued.
2. EHPEA,
as Project, Executing Agency (PEA), invites sealed bids from bidders
originating and duly registered in member countries of the CFC, for
one Bore hole in intends to drill for the water supply of the a pack
house constructed at Meki Town In East Shoa, Dugda Woreda.
3. EPHEA
invites eligible bidders for the Contract of Borehole drilling,
installation of casings, gravel packing, well development, pumping
test & water quality test, well head construction and completion of
the well including the supply of all required materials for the
same.
4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
from the first date of this announcement from EHPEA Office, Room
No.10, Gelia Building, Haile Gebreseliasie Avenue, upon presentation
of renewed relevant license for 2001 E.C. registration card issued
from Ministry of water resource, VAT registration certificate and
Tax Identification Number (TIN) together with Written Application to
the above office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50
(Fifty) Ethiopian Birr only.
5. Bids
must be valid for period of 45 days after Bid opening and must be
accompanied by a bid bond of 1% (One-percent) of the total bid
amount in the form of CPO, bank guarantee or issuance.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the above-office on or before 14:00 Hours (2:00
P.M.) on January 9, 2009 at which time they will be opened in EHPEA
meeting hall on the same building in the presence of bidders who
wish to attend.
7. EPHEA
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Only bids
conforming to all terms and conditions of the CFC Regulations and
rules for the procurement of Goods and services of the Second
Account, in general, and regulation XXI in particular will be
considered.
