SUPPLY OF 24 UNITS OF DEWATERING PUMP-BID
1. The
Government of Ethiopia has received a Grant from the African
Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of Water
Supply and Sanitation Projects. It is intended that part of the
proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under
the contract for the supply of 24 units of Dewatering Pumps & 24
units of Portable Generators for Rural Water Supply Program in the
region.
2. The
SNNP Regional Water Resources Bureau now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of:

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
Bidding Documents at the office of SNNP Regional Water Resources
Bureau, Equipment and Supply Services, Room Number 05, Hawassa City,
Tel. 046-221 24 69, Fax. 046-220 41 82.
4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of
necessary renewed licenses with originals to the above address upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00.
5. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening. Bids
should be accompanied by bid security of not less than 2% of the
total bid price in the form of bank guarantee.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the SNNP Regional Water Resources Development
Bureau, Procurement Department, Room No. 05, Hawassa City, Tel.
0462212469, at or before 10:00 A.M. on 30th day of
announcement on national newspaper. Electronic bidding will not be
permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who
choose to attend in person at 2:00 P.M. on 30th day of
announcement on national newspaper at the library of announcement on
national newspaper at the library of SNNP Regional Water Resources
Development Bureau, Hawassa City. If there will be public holiday on
this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the
next working day at the same time and the same venue. |
