INVITATION FOR LOCAL COMPETITIVE
BIDDING
1. Water
Action invites interested bidders for the Supply of Different Size
of HDPE Pipes and Fittings for –Phase II Worka Gara Large Gravity
Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Project.
2. The
Bid Documents shall be obtained from Water Action Head Office
located, Around Lem Hotel, near to Miracle College, P.O. Box 13367,
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011-663 17 89 Or 663 17 90 against
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 50 during Office Hour upon
Presentation of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance and Economic Development renewed trade license for the
year & VAT registration certificate.
3. All
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 1% of the bid price in the
form of CPO or Bank Guarantee. Bid bond in any other form shall not
be acceptable.
4. Bidders
are invited to submit Financial and Technical proposals pf one
original and one copy enclosed in a wax-sealed envelope to Water
Action on or before 2:00 P.M. local time on 9 January 2009.
5. The
quantity, which is not mentioned in the bid announcement, can be
found in the bid document.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized
representatives at the Conference Hall of Water Action at 3:00 P.M. local Time on 9 January 2009.
7. If
the Supplier is not Manufacturer, he should provide signed and if
possible stamped suppliers Authorization from the manufacturer.
8. Failure
to comply with any of the conditions indicated above will result in
automatic rejection.
9. Water
Action reserve the right to reject all or part of the bid.
