Bid Invitation for the supply of
Generator Sets and
Submersible Pumps
1. GOAL
Ethiopia, an International Humanitarian Organization, invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the supply of generator sets and
submersible pumps.
2. The
successful bidder will be expected to supply the required quantity
in accordance with delivery schedule of GOAL Ethiopia.
3. Interested
bidders who can provide current and legal registration licenses from
the Ministry of Trade and Industry thereafter may obtain the bidding
documents during office hours starting from the first day this
notice appeared in The Ethiopian Herald News Paper against payment
of non-refundable administrative charge of Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr)
from the following address:

4. Bidders
should submit their offers accompanied by copies of all appropriate
documents/licenses in a wax-sealed and stamped envelope to the above
address into the box ready for the bid before 10:00 A.M. 16 December 2008.
5. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their bid, a bid security to the amount of
Eth. Birr 10,000 (Ten Thousand) only, in the form of certified
cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized bank, which will be refunded as
soon as a contact is singed.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives who choose to attend on 16 December 2008, 10:30 A.M. at the GOAL Ethiopia meeting
room, Head Office, Addis Ababa.
7. GOAL
Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
