1. The
Tigray Roads Authority invites interested eligible bidders for the
supply of the following Types of small vehicles:
Single Cup Quantity 2
Double Cup Quantity 4
Water Pump Quantity 5
2. The
bid documents shall be obtained from the same office against payment
of non-refundable fee fro Birr 100 document during office hours upon
presentation of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance & Economy Development renewed trade license for the year
VAT Registration certificated & Tax clearance.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
T.R.A. ‘S Purchasing Division Room No 12 P.O. Box 14 Mekelle,
Ethiopia, Tel. 03448164.
4. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open international
tendering procedures contained in the public procurement
proclamation of the government of the federal democratic
republic of Ethiopia and is open
to all bidders from eligible source countries.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of Birr 60,000.00 in the form
of Bank Guarantee (CPO) Bid bond in any other form shall not be
acceptable.
6. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes
1. Technical
Envelope
2. Financial
Envelope each having one original technical envelope.
7. All
eligible certificates under serial No. 2-should be found in the
original technical envelope and be original technical envelope.
8. Bid
bond should be in separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
9. If
suppliers are not manufactures, they should provide and affidavit
Compliance (Supplier Authorization) from the manufactures.
10. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 9:00 AM local time on January 12, 2009.
11. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on the same date January 12,
2009 at 10:00 AM local time.
12. The
authority reserves the right to accept or reject any all bids.
13. Failure
to complete with and of the condition form (5) to (9) above will result in automatic rejection.
