Description

Sustainable Water Harvesting and Institutional Strengthening in Amhara (SWHISA) hereby invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of irrigation infrastructure development at kobo Research sub-center in North Wollo Administrative Zone. This bid consist Irrigation Canal Construction and Generator Room Construction.

1.      This bid is open to all bidders who have a license of GC 6 and above. The bidder should have eligibility documents, such as VAT, TIN, Trade Registration, Professional certificates, renewed trade license for the year 1999 and/or 2000 E.C. and licensed for water construction works from The Federal Ministry of Water Resources Development.

2.      Bidders should present their license and eligibility documents with their offer. All documents including the bid bond shall state the bidder’s name.

3.      Interested eligible bidders could purchase the bid document upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr) from SWHISA Central Coordinating Office, Alma Building, and Room No. G09 Bahir Dar during office hours,

4.      The offer shall not be partial.

5.      If the bidder has an alternative bid it shall be submitted in separate envelope with its bid security bond. Alternative bids may be considered and evaluated separately.

6.      All Bids must be accompanied by bid Security equivalent to 1% of the total offered value in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee payable to SWHISA.

7.      Bid documents shall be sealed in three envelopes separately as stated in the instruction to bidders and delivered to SWHISA Central Office, Alma Building Room No. G09, Bahir Dar or P.O. Box 325, Bahir Dar.

8.      All bids shall be in local currency Birr.

9.      Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening date.

10.  Bid closing date shall be on 21^st calendar day falls on weekends or holidays the bid closing date shall be the next working day at 2:00 P.M.

11.  Bids will be opened at 3:00 PM on the bid closing date at SWHISA meeting hall, ALMA building, Bahir Dar, in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend.

13.  SWHISA reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid and to annual the bidding process without assigning any reason.
