Invitation to Express Interested in a
Service on Community Based
Home Care Assessment and Mapping
HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Office (FHPCO) has received funds
from UNICEF and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds
towards the cost of the current Status of Community Home Based Care
services and activities in Eleven regions in Ethiopia.
The FHPCO now
invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed expressions of
interest for study on Community Based Home Care (HBHC) Assessment
activities, qualification and experience
The assessment and mapping exercise
shall have national geographic coverage (eleven regions) of
Ethiopia, Identify gaps implementation challenge, limitation,
linkages, and propose feasible recommendations for improving and
scaling-up of CHBC at national level.
A post-graduate Degree in public
health (MPH) or related medical fields or a BSc. Degree in Nursing,
Sociology, Public Administration, Psychology, and related fields
with 10-12 years of experience in the area of HIV/AIDS, CHBC,
knowledge and skills in compiling and writing food repots and
develop project proposal for donors.
Has solid experience in conducting
national/regional mapping survey and good truck record of
performance of such national/regional consultancies. Can present
proof of efficient accomplishment of pervious national/regional
consultancies this to be included in the competitive process.
Time frame or duration of the
assessment and mapping of CHB is 60 days.
