TO: ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC/BC CLASS 6 AND
ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THIS YEAR.
1. The
Ethiopian Customs Authority has funds with in the Employer’s budget
to be used for the procurement of contractors for Store and Shed
Remaining Work at GALAFI.
2. The
Ethiopian Customs Authority invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders of GC/BC class 6 and above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopian and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian
Customs Authority office No. 603 or Tel. 551-31 00 Ext. 222 Or
552-59 54 and inspect the bidding documents at the address given
below at 7 (a) from 9:00 A.M. to 16:30 P.M. Local time.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased as of Yekatit 11,
2000 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on the submission of a
written application, VAT registration certificate, Ministry of Works
& Urban Development. Trade License & bid participation supporting
letter at the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of 439.00 Birr.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before Megabit
11, 2000 E.C. all bids must be accompanied by a bid security of
Ethiopian Birr 10,000 Payable at first demand address to the
employer. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the
presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the
address below at 7(d) 14:00 P.M. hrs, Megabit 11, 2000 E.C.
