Request for Expressions of Interest
DFID Ethiopia Office and staff residences Pest Control Service

Expressions of Interest are invites from reputable companies based in Addis Ababa.


DFID Ethiopian is interested to tender, and enter into a contractual agreement, with a company which is technically capable to perform pest control service to DFID Office, DFID Staff Residences and DFID warehouse in-order to have pest and rodent free office and residential environment. This contract will be valid for three years; subject to an annual review of performance.

Specific tasks/activities:

Quarterly rodent control, pest survey, inspection and eradication of all staff residences and warehouse

Quarterly inspection service of the office building, roofing and ground and reporting on the findings.

Biannual fumigation service to DFID office compound, the office building, roofing and floor.

Annual fumigation of all residences and warehouse

Fumigation service to any urgent and unscheduled requests

Required experts profile:

The company should have a minimum of five years prior involvement and experience in pest control service.

Possess the proper license and work permits to engage itself in the above mentioned activates.

All technical staff of the company should have relevant qualification in the filed

The company should have proper and safe storage area with the capacity to store and adequate inventory of pesticides for immediate needs.

All applications should be concise and no loner than A4 page in length and must detail relevant experience and qualifications.
