Ethiopian Horticulture Producers & Exporters Association (EHPEA) has
received a grant from the Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) towards
the cost of executing the Establishment of a Diversification
Programme for Vegetable Export Development in Ethiopia and Sudan,
and Intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to eligible
payments under the contract for which this invitation to bid is
Horticulture Producers & Exporters Association, as Project Executing
Agency, invites sealed bids from bidders originating and duly
registered in member counties of the Common Fund for to construct at
Meki and Adami Tulu towns.
bidders shall present a renewed license of Category BC/GC 4 and
above from Ministry of Works & Urban Development and a renewed trade
license from Ministry of works & Urban Development and a renewed
trade license from the Ministry of Trade & Industry.
bidders shall submit a letter of Expression of Interest t register
for participation in the bid before 16:00 hours (4:00 P.M.) on
February 6, 2008. Registered bidders only will be permitted to
purchase bidding documents from February 8, 2008 to February 15,
documents may be purchased from Ethiopian Horticulture Producers &
Exporters Association, Gelila Building, Haile Bebre Sellassie
Avenue, Room No. 10, for a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (Five
Hundred Birr only). Originals of the eligibility documents listed in
item 3 above shall be presented for registration. Interested bidders
may obtain further information at the address above.
shall be valid for a period of 45 days after Bid opening and must be
accompanied by security of Birr 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Birr only).
shall be delivery to Ethiopian Horticulture Producers & Exporters
Association, Gelila Building, Haile Gebre Sellasie
Avenue, Room No. 10, on or before 14:00 hours, (2:00 P.M.), on March 10, 2008 at which time
they will be opened in the presence of bidders who wish to attend.
Ethiopian Horticulture Producers & Exporters Association reserves
the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Only bids conforming
to all terms and conditions of the CFC Regulations and Rules for the
Procurement of Good and Services of the Second Account, in general,
and Regulation XXI in particular, will be considered.
