1. The
G/P/N/R/S/ Water, Mines and Energy Resources’ Development Bureau
invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders for the
construction of Akashi Ketema 1,2 & 3 Villages Rural Water
Supply Project and Abobo, Metti, and Korgung towns water supply
immediate service improvement works on behalves of respected Woredas
and towns.
2. Bidders
can participate in one or all of the following lots.

3. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by eligible
bidders upon presentation of 1999/2000 E.C. renewed license, tax
payer and VAT registration certificate , license for required work
from the relevant Ministry and payment of non-refundable fee of
Birr 100.00 (Hundred Birr only) for each lot from the
address stated bellow.
4. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for
LOT 1 and LOT 2 and Bidders must obtain registration for category
GC 6 & above for both lots.
5. Bids
shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening.
Bids must be accompanied by bid security of not less than 1% of the
total bid price. They shall be delivered to the address specified
below on or before 3:30
P.M. local time on
February 8, 2008.
Bids shall be opened at
4:00 P.M.
local time of the same day in the
presence of the bidders who whish to attend. Electronic bidding will
not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
6. The
Bureau reserves the Right to accept or reject any or all
bids.
