Oromia Rural
Roads Authority now invites sealed bids from qualified & eligible
bidders to provide their offer for the supply of the following
grades of liquid fuels and lubricants for different ORRA’s Road
Construction & Maintenance sites grouped under two lots (Lot 01 &
Lot 02), in which lists of the two lots will be attached to the
instruction to Bidders & specified.

Therefore:
1. Bidders
who can provide Trade License renewed for 2000 E.C, Recent Tax
Clearance from Inland Revenue Authority or Concerned Bureaus,
Registration Certificate from the Ministry of Finance & Economic
Development, for which they are listed on suppliers List and VAT
Registration Certificate from the concerned Authority can
participate for the BID.
2. Upon
submission of a written application together with documents listed
under No. 1 above, a
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased from ORRA’s
Procurement Branch Office No. 33 (7th floor) against
non-refundable payment of birr 100 starting from January 09, 2008.
3. Bidders
shall prepare and submit bid proposal in two copies (ONE
“ORIGINAL” & ONE “PHOTOCOPY” of the bid document in accordance
with the following volume separately for each Lots:
Volume I. Technical Proposal
(One original & one
Photocopy of the
original Sealed Separately)
Volume II. Financial Proposal
(One original & one
Photocopy of the original Sealed Separately).
4. All
bids must be accompanied by the bid security if an amount of Birr
50,000 in the form of Certified check or CPO or Bank Guarantee only.
5. Bid
proposal (both Technical & Financial Proposal) shall be submitted
on/before on February 12,
2008 at 3:00 P.M. Late bids submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
6. Technical
Proposal will be opened on February 12, 2008 at 3:30 P.M.& Financial
Proposal of Technically, qualified bidders will be opened after 10
days fro the opening date of Technical Proposal, i.e. February
22, 2008 at 3:30 P.M. in the presence of bidders/representatives
who may choose to attend the opening ceremony in the Authority’s
office room No. 33, 7th floor.
7. The
Authority has the right to accept or reject any or all bids fully or
partially.
