and Woloso health stations (Woliso Town Administration)
in to health centers (South West Shewa Zone)

1. The
OROMIA REGIONAL HEALTH BUREAU has allocated a budget for
South West Shoa Zonal Health Department towards the cost of Health
Sector Development Program (HSDP) and intends to apply part of the
funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the
UPGRADING OF BURKA BIDOREBU, GATIRO, & WOLISO health stations
IN TO HEALT CENTERS, contract identification number NCB/G/HSDPSESZHO
01/2000.
2. South
West Shewa Zonal Health Department INVESTES SEALED BIDS FROM
ELIGIBLE BIDDERS TO ALL National contractors of class GC/BC 6
and above and regularly registered with the Ministry of Works
and Urban Development and who have renewed their license for the
current fiscal year and have VAT registration certificate. One
original and two copies of bid documents separately sealed with wax
should be packed in a bigger out covering envelope.
3. Bidding
documents (and additional copies) may be purchased from SOUTH
WEST SHOA ZONAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT, Health Service Team, Room No.
6 Woliso for a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred
Birr only) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency
commencing from January 15 to February 15, 2008. interested
bidders may obtain further information at the same address.
4. Bids
shall be valid for of 120 days after bid opening and must be
accompanied by bid security of ATLEAST 2% OF THE PROJECT COST
or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency in a form of CPO,
Unconditional insurance bonds, bank guarantee or in cash, and shall
be delivered to SOUTH WEST SHOA ZONAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT on or
before February 15, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon at which time
the bid will be opened in eth presence of the bidders who whish to
attend.
5. Completion
time for the construction work wick be 180 calendar days.
6. All
questionnaires and formats in the bidding shall be filled by
eligible bidders and failing to do so may be a cause for rejection,
and therefore bidders are advised to read the bidding data properly
and respond accordingly.
7. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
