Request for Proposal (RFP)
For Prepaid Mobile Voucher
Card Marketing Dealership
Ethiopian
Telecommunications Corporation invites all interested potential
local public, private, state owned business organization and
Cooperatives/Associations by this request for proposal to submit
dealership proposal and if selected to engage with ETC as
non-exclusive authorized Mega Dealers for sales and distribution of
prepaid mobile Voucher cards.
1. The
RFP remains floating from January 17, 2008 until February 11, 2008.
RFP documents can be obtained from ETC’s Head Office, Room No. 207
during office hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr). The Mega
Dealers should submit their renewed original license and VAT
certificate with copies when they come to obtain the RFP documents.
Those Mega Dealers that cannot able to provide trade registration
and licensing documents should submit their legal establishment
original document with copies.
2. All
proposals must be accompanied by RFP security in the amount of Birr
100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Birr).
3. The
Bid bond must be in either of the following form:
a)
Cash
b)
Certified Cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or
c)
Bank guarantee from recognized bank.
4. Mega
Dealers who wish to submit Bid security in the form of cash are
require to deposit to ETC’s Head office 3rd floor Room
No. 311 before February 12, 2008, 10:00 AM and produce the receipt
during the RFP opening time.
5. Mega
Dealers should prepare their RFP document in a wax-sealed envelope
marked as “Proposal for Prepaid Mobile Voucher card Marketing
Dealership” and deposit in the box situated at first floor Room No.
110 on or before February 11, 2008, 5:00 PM.
6. Proposals
will be opened in the presence of interested Mega Dealers or their
representatives at 10:00 A.M. on February 12, 2008 ETC’s Head Office
at Addis Ababa, Room No. 110.
7. The
Corporation reserves the right to reject all or parts of this RFP.
8. For

No. 204 from January 17-29, 2008 with in working hours.
