1. Plan
Ethiopia Jimma Program Unit has allocated budget for drilling and
well completion works of one deep bore-well (150m depth), which is
located in Kersa Woreda of JImma Zone in Oromia Regional State.
2. Plan
now invites eligible bidders if category G.C/W/W.C –Grade 6 or above
for the Contract of water wells drilling, installation of casings,
gravel packing, well development, pumping test & water quality test,
well head construction and completion of the well including the
supply of all required materials for the same.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at its Country Office, Debre Zeit road, in Kitkis
Kifle Ketema, Kebele 06, House No. 1068, P.O. Box 5696, Addis Ababa.
4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders upon presentation of renewed relevant license for the
current year, registration card issued from Ministry of Water
Resource, from the Ministry of Infrastructure, VAT registration
certificate and Tax Identification Number (TIN) together with
Written Application to the above office and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Fifty) only.
5. Qualification
requirements include: (i) ownership (or existing lease) of suitable
drilling rig, (ii) completion of at least two bore hole construction
contracts of similar size in the last five years, (iii) an
experienced drilling team. Additional details are provide in eth

6. Bids
must be delivered to the above office on the fifteenth calendar day
of bid announcement and must be accompanied by a bid bond of 2%
(two-percent) of the total offered value in form of CPO only.
7. Bids
must be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized
representatives who choose to attend on the following Monday after
the fifth day of deadline for bid submission at
9:30 AM at Plan Ethiopia Jimma
Program Unit Office, Jimma.
