1. Oromia
Regional Health Bureau has received a grant from the global Fund
/GF/HIV towards the cost of Health Sector Development Program (HSDP)
to prevent & control HIV/AIDS supporting material and intends to
apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the
contract for the supply of Stationary, Office Equipment & Furniture
Health Bureau, NCB/GF-HIV/OHB/07/2000.
2. The
Oromia Health Bureau now, invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of Stationary, Office Equipment & Furniture
for Health Bureau under different lots.
3. Bidders
have the Option to bid for anyone or more type (s) of item (s). Bids
will be evaluated and contract(s) will be awarded for each items in
determining the least evaluated bid of all items which will be the
bases for award of the contract(s).
4. Bidders
should have renewed trade license for 2000 E.C. Suppliers list
registration certificate from Ministry of Finance & Economic
Development, VAT, TIN registration certificate & other supporting
letter/s concerning whether they have paid the taxations for
Government and have to bring these requirements while purchasing
this tender document and when submitting their Bid or offer also.
5. Interested

6. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application to the
above-mentioned office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr only). Starting from the date of the first
day of floating the Newspaper up to the last day of before the
closing date.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the office of Procurement Service, Oromia
Health Bureau on or before 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon on date
6/06/2000 E.C. or 14/02/2008 E.C. or 14/02/2008 and must be
accompanied by a security of not less than 2% of the Bid Amount in
the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee Not less
than 148 days for the Bid Security that shall remain Valid for a
period from a reputable Bank.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
(those who have a written representative’s from their organization
to participate on the bid opening ceremony) who choose to attend at
3:30 P.M. in the afternoon of 6/06/2000 E.C. or 14/02/2008 at the office of Procurement Services Oromia Health Bureau, Room No. 39
Finfinnee, Ethiopia.
9. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject or accept partially or fully.
