BID DOCUMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
DIFFERENT MATERIALS
1. Our
Enterprise invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of:

Sawmill & Saw Doctor Machines & Perkin’s engine Spare parts
1.2.
Sawmill & Saw Doctor Machines Tools & Implements
1.3.
Forestry Tools & Implements
1.4.
Tractor Spare part
1.5.
TOYOTA Spare parts
1.6.
NISSAN DIESEL (UD) & ISUZU (FSR) Spare parts
1.7.
Garage & Mechanical Tools
2. Interested
and eligible bidder may obtain the Bidding Document upon payment of
non-refundable 100.00 ETB (One Hundred Birr only) from the
Head office of the Enterprise located at the town of Arsi-Negele,
West Arsi Zone, and from sales office located at Addis Ababa, Lideta
Sub City, in front of Federal High Court some 200 meter down
wards, during an office hour starting from January 25, 2008.
3. All
bidders are required to present Trade license valid for 2000 E.C.
4. A
bidder who complete for goods whose total value is greater than Birr
100,000.00 is required to
5. Bids
must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the total
sum of bid price of eth items, in C.P.O.
6. Bidders
may compete for all or any Category of the items stated in this bid,
but should have relevant trade license of the category/categories
he/she is competing for.
7. All
Bids must be delivered to the Head office of Arsi Forest Enterprise
from January 25, 2008 to Feb. 25, 2008 at 12:00 A.M. local time, in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the box
prepared for the purpose of this bid.
8. The
Bids must be opened at the Head office of the Enterprise in the
presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at
2:00 P.M. local time on Feb. 25, 2008.
9. It
is impossible for any bidder to quote bid price depending on price
quoted by any other bidder.
10. The
Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
without giving any reason thereof.
