The Arsi Forest
Enterprise invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for
furnishing the necessary labor, material, equipment and service for
the construction of projects indicated below.

1. Interested
and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of
non-refundable Birr 100.00 ETB (One Hundred Birr only) from the Head
office of the Enterprise located at the town of Arsi-Negele, West
Arsi Zone and from its sales office located at Addis Ababa, Lideta
Sub City, in front of Federal High Court some 200 meter down wards;
during the office hour, staring from January 25/2008.
2. All
bidders must provide tax clearance paper from the concerned
Authority and Trade license valid for the year 2000 E.C/ 2007 G.C.
and also VAT Registration certificate in its original and copy.
3. Bidders
are required to fill all the necessary detailed information in the
bid document.
4. The
construction work shall be completed within 90 calendar days.
5. All
bids must be delivered to the Head office of Arsi Forest Enterprise
from January 25/2008 up to Feb. 25, 2008 G.C. at 12:00 A.M. local
time, in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the box prepared
for the purpose of this bid.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the
total sum of bid price in C.P.O.
7. All
bidders must provide original, copy bid bond and supporting
documents in separate wax-sealed in one bid envelope.
8. The
bidders are required to submit work experience especially on the
Installation of such type of tankers from fuel companies PLC.
9. The
Bids shall be opened at the Head office of the Enterprise in the
presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at
2:00 P.M. local time on Feb. 25, 2008.
10. It
is impossible for any bidder to quote bid price depending on price
quoted by another bidder.
11. The
enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
without giving any reason thereof.
