Construction of FIFA Ambo
Goal Project
For all
Bidders of category BC/GC-1
1. The
Oromia Works and Urban Development Bureau (OWUDB) has secured a
budget from the Regional government of Oromia to be used for the
procurement of works for the construction of FIFA Ambo Goal Project
at Ambo.
2. The
OWUDB now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders who are
interested and capable to allocate sufficient resources for the
construction of a FIFA Ambo Goal Project to be constructed with in
455 calendar days. Bidders shall regularly registered with the
Ministry of Works and Urban Development and who have renewed their
license for the year 2000 Ethiopian Calendar and have VAT
registration certificate.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from (OWUDB) and
obtain the bidding documents at the address given below at 9 (a)
during office hours.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders at the address indicated below at 9 (a) and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopia Birr 800 (Eight
Hundred).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 9(a) at or before February
12th, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. all bids must be accompanied by
a 2% bid security in the form of bank guarantee or certified payment
order (CPO) established through authorized Bank in Ethiopia. Late
bids shall be rejected.
7. Bidders
are instructed to submit their bids as follows:
A.
One original and two copies of Qualification document sealed
separately and enclosed in an outer envelope sealed and clearly
marked “Qualification document.”
B.
One original and two copies of Financial offer document
sealed separate and enclosed an outer envelope sealed and clearly
marked “Financial Offer Document” and warning “Do not open with the
qualification document.”
C.
Bid security and clearly marked “Bid Security”
D.
All envelopes will be inserted in to an outer envelope and
sealed. The outer envelopes shall bear the submission address and
other information indicate in date sheet.
8. Opening
of Bids:
A.
The qualification document will be opened on February 12/2008
at 10:30 A.M. in the presence of bidders and or their
representatives who wish to attend.
B.
The Finance offer document shall remain sealed and deposited
in to the box prepared for the this purpose in the presence of any
authorized party by the client, until all submitted financial
documents are opened publicly.
C.
The qualified financial offer document date and time will be
announced by the client after completion of qualification document
evaluation.
