Information and Communication Technology Assisted Development
Project
IDA Credit Number 3985-ET
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received Credit from the
International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of
Information and Communication Technology Assisted Development
(ICTAD) Project, and it intends to apply a portion of the fund to
eligible payment under the contract for which this RFP is issued.
2. The
Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, Information and Communications
Technology Assisted Development Project now invites separate and
sealed Technical and Financial Proposals from eligible bidders for
the provision of the following Consultancy Service:
Development of National IT Disaster
Prevention & Recovery Procedures & Guideline.
More details
on the service is provided in the Terms of
reference.
3. A
firm will be selected under QCBS and procedures described in this
RFP, in accordance with the policies of the IDA detailed in the
Guidelines-Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank
Borrowers published May 2004.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian ICT
Development Agency; Information and Communication Technology
Assisted Development (ICTAD) Project and inspect the Request for
Proposal Documents during working days and hours from 8:30 A.M. to
12:30 and from 1:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. at the address given
below.
5. Complete
set of request for proposal, (RFP) can be obtained during working
hours from the date of the first announcement in The Ethiopian
Herald upon presenting or original renewed license for the budget
year and registration certificate from the concerned government
office.
6. Qualification
requirements and Additional details are provided in the Request for
Proposal.
7. A
complete set of Request for Proposal in English language may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
Application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr).
8. Proposals
must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 P.M.
February 20, 2008. Electronic bidding will not be acceptable. Late
bids will be rejected.
