Section I: Invitation for Re-Bids
1. Oromia
Health Bureau obtained a budget font the World Health & Other Aid
Granted Organization would like to procure, Drugs for Health
Institution towards the cost of Health Sector Development Program.
It is intended that part of the Proceeds of this budget will be
applied to eligible payments under the contract for the procurement
of Drugs for Health Institution in Local Competitive Bid.
2. The
Oromia Health Bureau now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of Drugs for Health Institution.
3. Bidders
have No Option to bid for anyone or more type (s) of item
(s). Bids will be evaluated and contract (s) will be awarded for all
items taking into account discounts offered, if any. for combined
Items in determining the least evaluated bid of all items which will
be the bases for award of the contract (s).
4. Bidders
should have renewed trade license for 2000 E.C. Suppliers list
registration certificate from Ministry Finance & Economic
Development, VAT, TIN registration certificate & other supporting
letter/s concerning whether they have paid the taxations for
Government and have to bring these requirements while purchasing
this tender document and when submitting their offer also. Those
bidders who are participating for the medical equipment they
should have to submit the permission (Registration) certificate
from the Drug Administration & Control Authority of Ethiopia (DACA).
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from at the office

6. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application to the
above-mentioned office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 50.00 (Birr Fifty only).
7. Bids
must be delivered to office of Procurement Service, Oromia Health
Bureau on or before 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon on date 18/02/2008
Or 10/06/2000 E.C. and must be accompanied by a security of not
less than 1% of the Bid Amount freely convertible in the form of
CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee from a reputable Bank.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders’ or their representatives
(Those who have a written representative’s from their organization
to participate on the bid opening ceremony) who choose to attend at
3:30 P.M. in eh afternoon on 18/02/2008 Or 10/06/2000 E.C. at

9. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject or accept partially or fully.
