3rd Invitation to Bid
For the Revocation of Guenet Hotel
1. The
Catering and Tourism Training Institute (CTTI) with budget allotted
from the Federal Government is planning to renovate Guenet Hotel Building to convert
the-existing rooms into class rooms and other training facilities.
2. The
CTTI invites wax-sealed bids from contractors of category GC-3/BC-3
and above upon the submission of renewed trading license for the
year 2000 E.C., up to date registration from the Ministry of Works
and Urban Development, Suppliers registration and VAT registration
certificates. The Renovation project is expected to be completed
with in 270 Calendar Days.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the
Federal government of Ethiopia.
4. Interested
eligible bidder may obtain further information from CTTI and inspect
the bidding Documents at Guenet Hotel Finance Division, from 8:30 to
12:00 A.M. and 1:30 to 4:00 P.M. from Monday to
Friday.
5. A
complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by interested
bidders from Guenet Hotel Finance Division, up on payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 1000 (One Thousand Birr) the
method of payment will be in cash and the documents will be
collected by hand.
6. Bids
must be delivered and deposited in the appropriately labeled box at
Guenet Hotel Finance Division at or before February 26, 2008 at 2:30
P.M. local time. All bids must accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the
bid amount but nor greater than 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand
ETB) of the bid amount in the form of a certified check, letter of
credit or bank guarantee. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be
opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to
attend, at 3:00 P.M. February
18, 2008 at the Guenet Hotel Conference Hall.
7. CTTI
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
