1. The
Oromia Water Resources Bureau has secured budget from Oromia National Regional State to cover
eligible payment under the contract for the construction of civil
works on borehole source located in E/Hararge and North Showa
Zone of the Region. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders
having a construction license of Grade GC-3 and above renewed for
1999/2000 E.C. and those currently registered with the, Ministry
of Water Resources, registration for VAT and Tax Identification
Number (TIN) together with written application.
2. The
Oromia Water Resources Bureau (OWRB), acting as executing agency for
the Project, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
construction of Civil Works. The project sites are grouped into
different lots. The summery of activities in the projects are
indicated in the following table.

3. Bidding
documents and additional copies may be purchased at office of Oromia

Floor Room No. 6-4), for a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr
300 (Three Hundred).
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of One Hundred Twenty (120) days after
Bid opening and must be accompanied by Bid security of not less than
1% of Contract price in the form of Bank Guarantee, CPO cheque or
insurance and shall be delivered to Oromia Water Resources
Bureau, Bole Road 6th Floor Room No. 6-4, on or before 1st
of February 2008 at 12:00 A.M. and will be opened on the same day (1st
of February 2008) at 2:00 P.M. at the presence of the bidders who
wish t attend at the office of the bureau head.
5. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
