1. The
Oromia Regional Government has allocated budget toward the cost of
Oromia Health Sector Development program /HSDP/ & intends to apply
part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for
the construction of the following Hospitals.

2. The
Oromia Regional Health Bureau invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders to all national contractors of class GC/BC 2, and above for
the construction of new Hospitals which are mentioned above
respectively registered with the Ministry or works and urban
Development and who have renewed their license for the current
fiscal year and have VAT registration certificate.
3. Bidding
documents and (additional copies) may be purchased from Oromia
Regional Health Bureau, Engineering service Room No. 63, Tel.
011-515 90 85, 0911-10 05 89, P.O. Box 24341, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
for a non-refundable fee of Birr 1200,1500 (One Thousand Two
Hundred, One Thousand Five Hundred) respectively commencing from
25/01/2008. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the
same address.
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must
be accompanied by a bid security of at least 1% of the bid amount
(not more than Birr 100,000) in CPO or its equivalent in a freely
convertible currency from reputable bank and shall be delivered to
Oromia Regional Health Bureau, Engineering Service. Room No. 63 in
wax-sealed envelope original and 2 copies of both prequalification
and financial separate on or before 22/02/2008 at 3:00 P.M. in the
afternoon at which time pre qualification document will be opened in
the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to
attend.
5. The
construction shall be completed with in a maximum of 790, 970
calendar days respectively.
6. The
Oromia Health Bureau has the right to reject any or all bids. |
