1. The
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received a budget
from Government of Ethiopia towards the cost of National Livestock
Development Project. It is intended that part of the proceed of this
budget will be applied to eligible payment under the contract for
procurement of jet ink printer, spare parts and consumables.
2. The
Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
supply of jet ink printer, Automatic printer, training for
technicians, installation of the new printer as described as
follows:

4. Interested
and eligible bidders can only bid for one item and could bid for all
items.
5. A
complete set of bidding document may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application to the above
office and up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.
6. The
provisions in the instruction to bidders and in the general
conditions of contract are the provisions of the public procurement
agency, standard bidding document procurement of Goods.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below before or on 10:00 AM
February 28, 2008. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of
Birr 10,000.00 in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee. Late bids will
be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders of
their representatives who choose to attend at the address below at
10:30 AM on the same date.
