1. The
International Rescue Committee, an international non-governmental
organization now invites sealed bids from qualified contractors of
GC-6 and above for the construction of Legejarsa (second time)
(Lot-I) and Hatura (Lot-II) Water Supply System structures found
in Gemechis and Boke Woredas respectively, West Hararghe Zone of
Oromiya Regional State.
2. The
Tender Documents, including the Tender Guidelines, Bill of
Quantities, Specification, Drawings and Contract Template, for the
aforementioned activity can be purchased 100(One Hundred Birr)
non-refundable, from the International Rescue Committee office
during working hours from 25th January 2008 until 7th
February 2008 inclusive. The International Rescue Committee
office is located on the 6th floor of the TK
International Building, near Bole Airport, Bole Road, Addis Ababa;
Tel (011) 663 67 35/6/7.
3. One
copy of bid, in separate envelopes marked ‘Original’ and ‘Copy’,
should be submitted in a sealed covered envelope at the office of
the International Rescue Committee address specified above by not
later than 10:00 A.M.
Friday 8th February 2008.
All bids should include the aforementioned Tender Documents and be
accompanied by the firm profile, past performance record on similar
works and other relevant credentials, as well as a bid security in
the for of a Bank Guarantee for 1% (One percent) of the bid amount.
4. Bids
will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ or their representatives
who choose to attend at 11:00 A.M./ Friday 8th February
2008 at the Conference Hall of IRC-Ethiopia, Addis Ababa office
(address as in clause 2 above).
5. Bidders
can bid for one lot or both lots.
6. The
International Rescue Committee reserves the right to reject the
whole or part of any or all bids. |
