1. Geological
Survey of Ethiopia invites sealed bids from interested eligible
bides for the purchase of:-
SPARE PARTS FOR
TOP 200S RIG, SPARE PARTS FOR TOP-150 RIG, SPARE PARTS FOR TBM-150
RIG, FOR TBM RIG ENGINE MITSUI-DEUTZ F4L 912, SPARE PARTS FOR CS
2000 RIG & MISUI-DEUTZ F2L912 ENGINE.
2. The
bid documents shall be obtained from our procurement office Room No.
214 against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 20.00 for each bid
during office hours upon presentation of Registration certificate
from the Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic Development,
clearance from Inland Revenue Administration, renewed trade license
for the current year and VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of the
Survey’s Procurement Office Room No. 214, P.O. Box 2302, Addis
Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011-646 35 84 or 011-646 44 71, Fax. 251-11
/646 33 26.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 3,000.00 in the form
of Bank Guarantee or cashier’s payment order (C.P.O).
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited in item No.2 (Registration
certificate from the Federal Ministry of Finance & Economic
Development, Clearance from Inland Revenue Administration, renewed
trade license from the current year and VAT registration certificate
should be found in the original technical envelope, and are placed
in the tender box on or before the final bid submission date.
7. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
on or before 10:00 A.M. local time on March 12, 2008.
8. Bids
will be opened on the same date at 10:15 A.M. local time in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives.
9. Geological
survey of Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
bids.
