Re-Invitation to bid
The Ethiopian
Airports Enterprise has intends to install stand by diesel
generators for regional airports (JImma, Bahirdar, Dire Dawa,
Assosa, Jijiga and Gode).
The Enterprise
invites eligible suppliers those who are VAT registered and could
produce registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development for which they are registered on suppliers
list, renewed their trade license for the fiscal year 2000 E.C. for
the supply and installation of the generators.
A complete set
of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of 300.00 /Three Hundred Birr/ from
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise, Finance Service cashier’s office near
Gerji customs office.
Interested
bidders may obtain further information and purchase the bidding
documents from the Enterprise’s Procurement Section.

Wax-sealed
envelopes containing and original and a copy of Offer and
Qualification documents should be delivered to the same office on or
before February 28, 2008 up to 10:00 A.M. and will be opened on the
same date and time. Late bids will be rejected.
The Offer
envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
The original and a copy of the Offer
document shall be sealed in separate envelopes and marked “Original
Offer Document” and “Copy of Offer Document” respectively.
The Bid security shall be sealed
in a separate envelope marked
"Bid Security”
The envelopes shall then be
sealed in an outer envelope marked “Offer
Document”.
The
qualification envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
The original and
a copy of the qualification document shall be sealed in separate
envelopes and marked “Original Qualification Document” and “Copy of
Qualification Document” respectively. The envelopes shall then be
sealed in an outer envelope marked “Qualification Document.”
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 10,000.00 (Ten
Thousands Birr) in the form of CPO or Bank Guaranty.
Bids will be
opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to
attend at Ethiopian Airports Enterprise head office Conference Room.
The Ethiopian
Airports Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
