2006 AMHARA DEVELOPMENT
ASSOCIATION (ADA) now invited wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders
for furnishing the necessary labor and equipment and including
material for form work the construction works of Office Building
Cafeteria & Conference hall at Dessie.
1. A
Complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the submission of written application to the
above and upon payment of non-refundable Birr 230.00 (Two Hundred
Thirty only) additional sets of documents may be purchased each at
the same price.
2. The
Client will provide an advance payment of 20% for successful
contractor after signing of the contract against bank guarantee of
CPO.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding
documents from the consultant office, Ultimate Plan PLC
Consulting architect & Engineers, Tel. 0115-52 29 25 Or 52 29 26 Or
0911-15 11 94 Or 0911-20 27 10.
4. Bidders
shall submit original & one copy of the bid document in wax-sealed
envelope addressed to “AMHARA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ADA)
Bid for Office Building, Cafeteria & conference Hall.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable Form of
1% of the bid amount in CPO or Bank guarantee letter and must be
addressed to “AMHARA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ADA)” in separate
envelope Failure to Fulfill acceptable bid security will be cause
for disqualification.
6. Bids
will be submitted to the Liaison Office of AMHARA DEVELOPMENT
ASSOCIATION (ADA) ADDIS
ABABA near Bole printing press. Tel. 011-551 78 86 Or 551 78 96 on
or before Feb. 18, 2008 at 10:00 A.M.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders/representatives who
choose to attend on Feb. 18, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the Liaison
Office of AMHARA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ADA),
ADDIS ABABA.
8. The
construction of the work shall be completed within a maximum of 400
calendar days from the commencement of the work.
9. The
Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids, Bidders are
requested to fill all the necessary details in the schedule. |
