1. The
Southern Nations, Nationalities & peoples Regional State Shone Water
Supply and Sanitation Enterprise (SNNPRSSWSSE) invites eligible
national bidders, registered contractors of category GC Class VI and
above whose licenses, registrations and VAT registration certificate
are valid for 2000 EC, to submit wax-sealed bids for furnishing the
necessary labour, material equipment and services for the
construction and completion of civil and electromechanically works
of Shone Town Water Supply and Sanitation Project.
2. The
work on offer mainly consists of supply and laying 80mm transmission
main of total length 1050m, supply and laying pipes in the
distribution system of total length 618m of 3 inch diameters; Supply
and installation of submersible pump and related works.

4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents can be purchased during working
hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Birr Two
Hundred) from the same office.
5. Bidders
are advised to read the Instruction to Bidders before filling in
their bids and must quote for all items of work in this contract.
Partial or incomplete quotation shall lead to automatic rejection.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable form,
amounting 1% of the bid price and must be delivered to the
above-mentioned office before or on 31st days of
announcement at 11:00 A.M.
7. Bid
must be opened on 31st day at 2:00 P.M. at the Shone
Water Supply and Sanitation Enterprise office, Shone in the Presence
or their legal representatives who wish to attend.
8. The
SNNPR Shone Water Supply and Sanitation Enterprise reserves the
right to accept or reject any or all bids.
