Re-Invitation for bid

1.       Our agency invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of:

Category 1: 2 units of cargo Trucks which can haul
                     1 3-axle Trailer (Diesel)
Category 2:  5 units of 4WD, 6 cylinder, long wheel
                     base, single-cab vehicle (diesel)
Category 3: 1 unit of 4WD station Wagon LWB
                    Diesel, 6 cylinder,
Category 4: 27 units of motorcycle 170 – 185 cc

2.      Interested and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of non-refundable 100 ETB (One Hundred Birr only) from office of the Agency located at the city of Addis Ababa (Alsamchalalak building) during an office hour starting from February 4^th 2008.

3.      All bidders are required to present Trade license valid for 2000 E.C.

4.      All bidders are required to present VAT registration certificate.

5.      Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the total sum of bid price of the Vehicles.

6.      Bidders have the option to complete for all or either of the above categories.

7.      All bids must be delivered to the office of the Forest Enterprise Supervising Agency from February 4^th to 3^rd March 2008 12:30 A.M. in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the box prepared for the purpose of this bid.

8.      The bids shall be opened at the office of the Agency in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 P.M. on march 3^rd 2008.

9.      It is impossible for any bidder to quote bid price depending on price quoted by any other bidder.

10.  The Agency reserves the right to accept or reject the bid without giving any reason thereof.
