CONSTRUCTION OF REGION AGRICULTURAL

WHOLESALE TREMINAL MARKET

1. The
Oromia Agricultural Output Marketing Agency (OAOMA) invites
interested Construction of Category GC-1 or RC-1 to submit
sealed Bids for the construction of about 4 Kilometers Internal
Access Roads with Asphalt of two different qualities for the
Regional agricultural Output Wholesale Terminal Market Center
Project that is currently under construction at Burayu town.
2. To
be eligible for Bidding for this project, the Contractors must have
license valid for the year 2000 Ethiopian Calendar and registered
for VAT.
3. Inspection
and acquisition of the Tendering Documents and further information
can be obtained from our office at:

4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased at the above
mentioned office, on submission of a written application and up on
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 1500.00 (One Thousand Five
Hundred only) at office hours.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the above mentioned address at or before (31st
of January, 2008 at 10:00 A.M.) All bids must be accompanied by a 2%
but not more than Birr 100,000 bid security in the form of
irrevocable letter of credit, bank guaranty or certified payment
order (CPO) established through any commercial bank in Ethiopia.
Late bids shall be rejected.
6. Bidders
are instructed to submit their bids as follows:
a)
One original and two copies of qualification document sealed
separately and enclosed in an outer envelope sealed and clearly
marked “Qualification document”
b)
One original and two copies of Financial offer document
sealed separately and enclosed an outer envelope sealed and clearly
marked “Financial Offer Document” and warning “Do not open with the
Qualification Document”
c)
Bid security sealed and clearly marked “Bid security”
d)
All envelopes will be inserted in to an outer envelop and
sealed.
The outer envelopes shall bear the
submission address and other information indicated in the data
sheet.
7. Opening
of Bids.
a)
The qualification document will be opened on January 31st,
2008 at 10:30 A.M. in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who wish to
attend.
b)
The Financial offer Document shall remain sealed deposited in
to the box prepared for this purpose in the presence of auditor or
any authorized party by the client, until all submitted financial
documents are opened publicly,
c)
The qualified financial offer document opening and return of
unopened financial offer document date and time will be announced by
the client after completion of qualification document evaluation.
8. Oromia
Agricultural Output Marketing Agency reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids. |
