TO: CONTRACTORS FOR SUPPLY AND
         INSTALLATION OF LIFT WITH
         LICENSE VALID FOR THIS YEAR

1.      Interested eligible bidders can complete on installation of lifts work.

2.      The interested eligible bidders for Installation of lifts work shall be fulfilled government legal procedure, such as tax clearance certificate, VAT registration certificate, supplier list registration and Renewed license for the year 2000 E.C.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open national tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Federal government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction Design Share Company design Studio 1 Block No. 5 office No. 33 Tel. 011-440 33 62.

5.      A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased starting as of 14^th January, 2008 at the address below at 7 (a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100 Birr.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(b) at or before 10:00 A.M. February 8^th, 2008 or (on Tir 30/2000)
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total bid price in the form of cash payment order (CPO) from recognized bank, Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below 7C at 11:00 A.M. February 8^th, 2008. (on Tir 30/2000)

7.       (a) Documents may be purchased from Ethiopian Development Research Institute 4^th Floor Room No. 406 (finance department)

(b) Bids must be delivered to Ethiopian Development Research Institute 1^st floor before February 8^th, 2008 11:00 A.M.

(C ) Address of Bid opening: Ethiopian Development Research Institute 1^st floor conference hall.

8.      The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Bidders are instructed to fill, sign and seal by authorized person all the forms of the bid documents. Failure of this instruction may lead to bid rejection.

      Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on sum items is
      not acceptable.

9.      EDRI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
