CONSULTANCY SERVICES
1. The
Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) is looking for consulting
services to undertake detailed integrated Water Shed Management
Study on Mile and Mile and Dirma Watersheds in Awash River Basin
Situated within the Amhara and Afar Regional States. The study is
aimed at to reduce soil erosion, flood as well as reduce
sedimentation that goes away to Tendaho reservoir located down
stream part of the watersheds. So the Ministry invites interested
and eligible consultancy services whose license is valid for the
year 1999/2000 E.C.
2. Complete
set of Request For Proposal (RFP) can be obtained during working
hours from the date of the first announcement /notice advertised in
The Ethiopian Herald/at Ministry of Water Resources Contract
Administration Department Room No. 212, Tel. 0116-62 55 15 Or
0116-51 87 01 Addis Ababa, upon the presence of renewed license and
registration certificate of 1999/2000 EC. Issued from the Ministry
of Finance and Economic Development together with written
application and a non-refundable fee payment of Birr 100.00 (One
Hundred Birr).
3. Original
and copy of proposals should be submitted in a wax-sealed envelope
(i.e. Technical and Financial proposals separately) to the address
stated above on the date and time that will be specified in the RFP.
4. Bidders
should abide with the regulation and rules of value added tax (VAT)
specified by the government of
Ethiopia. Failure to do so might
result in automatic rejection from the bid.
5. Technical
proposal will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or their
authorized representatives who choose to attend at the date and time
specified in the RFP at the address. The Financial proposal for
responsive bidders shall be opened and read in the presence of
bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
6. Bidders

7. The
MoWR reserves the right to reject any part of all bids, if
necessary.
