GC/BC CLASS 5 & Above WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THIS YEAR
1. The
Privatization & Public Enterprise Supervising Agency has
funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of
Maintenance work.
2. The
Privatization & Public Enterprise Supervising Agency invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders of GC/BC Class 5 & above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company at the address given below at 7 (A).
5. A
complete set of Bidding Document may be purchased as of January 10,
2008 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN
APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF
INFRASTRUCTURE REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, TRADE & INDUSTRY
DEVELOPMENT LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE SUPPORTING LETTER, at the
address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
birr 100.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before
4:00 hrs. local time. Bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopia Birr 10,000 Birr payable
at first demand. Addressed to the employer.
Bids will be opened in the
presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at
the address below at 7(d) 4:30 hrs. Local time.

at 4:30 :Local time.
e. The bidder shall seal the
Original. Bid security and all copies of the bid in five
inner envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid
security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner
envelopes as “ORIGIANL” and “COPIES” both for “The
Technical proposal” and “Financial Offer”. Copy documents should be
photocopy of the original bid document. Failure of this
instruction is automatic rejection.
f. The employer has the right to
reject any or all bids.
i. Bidders are instructed to
fill, sign and seal by authorized person all the forms of the bid
documents. Failure of this instruction may lead to bid rejection.
ii. Partial rebate, like fixed
sum and rebate on some items is nor acceptable.
