1. Adama University invites sealed bid
from eligible national bidders with license valid for EFY 2000, for
the supply of different types of Electronic equipment and Plasma
Welding Machines by a budget from World Bank Procurement Procedures.
2. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
Procedures contained is Public Procurement Proclamation of Federal
Government Procedures.
3. Eligible
bidders could obtain more information and tender documents by
presenting their renewed license valid for budget year, suppliers
registration certificate, the clearance paper form inland revenue
Authority & TIN & VAT registration certificate, against payment of
non-refundable Birr 100.00 at the address given below form Monday to
Friday from 8:00-12:00 AM and 1:00-5:00 PM local time where the
reset is as it is.
4. Bids
should be accompanied by a bid security of 2% in the form of CPO or
unconditional Bank guarantee which must be payable on first demand
by Adama University.

The bid bond will be sealed in separate envelope & marked bid
bond.
6. Bidders
shall submit their bids at the below mentioned address on or before
Aug. 11/2008 at 2:00 P.M. One original & two copies of bid documents
must be prepared in separate sealed envelope by labeling original
copy.
7. Bid
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
authorized representatives on the same date at 2:30 PM at Adama
University Conference Hall.
8. Adama University reserves the right to
reject any or all bids.
