1. The
Transport Authority invites suppliers, with renewed license and VAT
registered for the year 2000 E.C. to supply and install CCTV system
for the traffic complex and driver Training center, at Kality Area,
Addis Ababa.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by all interested
bidders upon payment of non-refundable fee of 300,00 (Three Hundred
Birr) form the Transport Authority as of June 25/2008.
3. Interested
bidders may obtain further information and purchase the bidding
documents from Room No 302 of the Transport Authority at Addis
Ababa.

4. Wax-sealed
envelopes containing an original and a copy of technical and
financial Documents should be delivered to the same office on or
before July 25/2008 at 4:090 P.M. Late bids will be Rejected.
5. The
technical envelopes shall be submitted as follows.
5.1
The original and a copy of The document shall be sealed in
separate envelopes and Marked “original Technical document” and
“Copy of Technical Document” respectively.
5.2
The Bid security shall be sealed in a separate envelope
marked “Bid security”.
6. The
Financial envelopes shall be submitted as follows

financial document shall be sealed in separate envelopes and Marked
“original financial document” and “Copy of financial document.”
respectively.
The envelopes shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked
“financial document”.
7. The
envelope in 5 and 6 shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked
“offer document”.
8. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr
50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Birr) in the Form of CPO or Bank Guarantee
addressed to the Transport Authority.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who
choose to attend a transport Authority head office tender hall at 5th
floor Room No. 516 on July 28/2008 at 10:00 at 10:00 A.M.
10. The
Transport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
