Description

To: ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC/BC CLASS 4 and above WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.

1.      The Assela Malt Factory has funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Office Building.

2.      Assela Malt Factory invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of GC/BC class 4 and above.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) form 9:00 A.M. to 16:30 P.M local time.

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Hamle 16, 2000 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE at the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of non-refundable fee of 1,402 Birr.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) or before 10:00 A.M. hrs. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security 100,000.00 birr payable at first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) 10:15 A.M. hrs Nehase 15, 2000 E.C.

7.      a) Documents can be inspected at: Construction Design Share Company Design Studio 3 Block No.10 Office No. 71 (Telephone 0114403368 Or 0114420800 Ext. 259).

b)   Documents can be purchased at construction Design Share Company Design Studio 3 Block No. 10 Office No. 71.

c)   Bids must be delivered to: construction Design Share Company 3^rd floor Tender Hall before 10:00 A.M. hrs local time Nehase 15, 2000 E.C.

d)   Address of Bid Opening: Construction Design Share Company 3^rd floor Tender Hall 10:15 A.M. Nehase 15, 2000 E.C.

e)   The bidder shall seal the Original, Bid security and all copies of the bid in  five inner envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for the “The Technical proposal” and “Financial Offer” Copy documents should be photocopy of the original bid document.

Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not acceptable.
