CONSULTANT / OF CLASS 3 & ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE YEAR 208.
1. The
Ministry of Education has allocated budget for the procurement of
preparation of Design, processing bid documents, doing the Contract
Administration & Supervision work of the Teachers office, Teachers
Residence & students dormitory at Adama University.
2. The
Ministry of Education invites Wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders
of consultant class 3 & above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the public procurement proclamation of the F.D.R. of
Ethiopia and is opened to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
Eligible bidders can buy bidding document from Ministry of Education
Procurement Main Office No. 101 submitting a WRITTEN APPLICATION,
VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURE
REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION, TRADE & INDUSTRY LICENSE upon payment
of non-refundable fee of 200.00/Two Hundred / during working days
from 8:30-4:45.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address at (4) for 30 days from the first
day of announcement. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security
of 2% of Design fee payable at the first demand.
6. Bids
will be opened on 31st calendar days of the announcement
on The Ethiopian Herald at 2:30 P.M. in the presence of bidders or
their legal representatives who are interested to attend at ministry
of Education Conference Hall.
7. The
bidders shall seal the original, bid security and all copies of the
bid in four inner envelope i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial
offer/one original & two copies for both/, and bid security) and one
outer envelope dully marking the inner envelope “ORIGINAL” & “CPIES”
both for the “Technical & Finance offer”.
8. Copy
documents should be the photocopy of the original documents.
9. Bidders
are advised to read the instruction to bidders and fill, sign and
seal all the forms of the bid documents. Failure to do this leads to
automatic rejection of the bid.
10. All
bids must be accompanied with Value Added Tax (VAT) & it should be
clearly indicated on the summary of the price.
11. The
Ministry of Education has the right to reject an or all bids.
