To all
contractors of category GC/BC class 3 and above, with a renewed
license and registration from regional Urban works and Development
Bureau from Ministry of Urban works and Development for the year
2000 E.C.
1. The
Kaffa zone Administration invites all eligible contractors of
category GC/BC-3 and above to undertake the Construction of national
coffee Museum at Bonga.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders after announcement in The Ethiopian Herald up on payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr) from Ethiopian
Millennium secretariat office number 303 Addis Ababa.
3. As
per the recent bidding process of the government for construction
projects, the process will apply a two stage bidding process
(Technical evaluation and financial Evaluation).
4. The
interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the
aforementioned office through a telephone 251-047-331 02 05,
0111116680, 0917825265 or by a person.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of their offer in
the form of CPO, Bank guarantee or insurance payable unconditionally
on firs written demand and it shall be submitted with in a separate
envelope.
6. Bids
will be opened at the same office in the presence of the tendered or
their representatives who choose to attend at 3:00 P.M. on 30th day of announcement of The Ethiopian herald at
office No. 303 at millennium secretariat office.
7.
Closing of bid will be at 11:00 A.M. on 30th day
of announcement of The Ethiopian Herald.
8. Bidders
shall complete the necessary details in the instruction to bidders.
9. All
Competitive Bidders should be VAT registered and they should submit
a copy of the following documents with the original documents of the
Technical proposal.
a. VAT
Registration Certificate
b. Registration
from Regional Urban Works and Development or from Ministry of Urban
Works and Development Bureau for the year 2000 E.C.
c. Renewed
license valid for the year 2000 E.C.
10. Negligence
of not following understanding and coming with the requirements of
the bid will lead to loose the bidding process.
11. The
original document to be submitted to the office shall be an original
document given by the client and it should be accompanied with a
sign of the contractor or legal representatives and a stamp of the
company. Two copies of the original documents should be submitted.
12. Kaffa
Zone Administration reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids. |
