Plan is an international humanitarian Child Centered Community Development Organization without religious, Political or government affiliation. It was founded in 1937 in Spain. It is an international federation of 17 national donors and the Head Quarter is based in U.K. Plan operates in 49 developing countries including Ethiopia.

Planís vision is of ďa world in which all children realize their full potential in societies which respect peopleís rights and dignities.Ē

In its mission, Plan strives to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprived children in developing countries through a process that unites people across cultures and adds meaning and value to their lives.

Plan Ethiopia was established in 1995, and is currently working with its partner communities/organizations in four program units: in Addis Ababa Administrative Region; in Lallibela area of Lasta Woreda, in Amhara National Regional State; in  Shebedino Woreda of Southern Jimma Zone of Oromia Regional State. Plan Ethiopia works in five program intervention areas: Known as Country Program Outlines (CPOs) Child Survival and Development, Quality Universal Learning for Life, Food and Nutrition Security, Child participation and Protection, and HIV/AIDS. All of Planís work is based on the following program principles: Child centered ness, Institutional learning, integration, Gender Equity, Empowerment and Sustainability, environmental Sustainability and Cooperation.

In line with its mandates, Plan Ethiopia is desirous of conducting end term evaluation of Food Security Project implementation in Shebedino Program Unit, Shebedino District in Southern Nations and Nationalities People Region (SNNPR). The main objective of the evaluation is to realize if the objectives are met, ensure accountability, assess results and draw lessons from success or failure of project strategies and implementation.    

The applying consultancy firm must have acceptable standard at National level with a good local and international experience in evaluating food and nutrition security projects.

Interested consultancy firms are hereby invited to:

1.      Collect Terms of Reference from the Receptionist at the Country office during working hours.

2.      Forward technical and financial proposal in line with the Terms of Reference within 10 days of the first day of announcement on this Newspaper.

3.      Submit financial proposal in separate sealed envelope.
