The Jimma University invites sealed bids
from eligible suppliers for the Supply of Laboratory equipments,
Chemicals, and Reagents for different department of
Jimma University.
1. Eligible
bidders should have business license valid for the current year and
copy of Registration certificate from the Ministry of finance and
Economic Development and supporting letter from Inland Revenue
Authority, and VAT registration (for local bidders).
2. Bid
document and detail information can be obtained from Jimma
University, main campus, Purchasing main division office or from
Ministry of Education, Jimma University liaison office in Addis
Ababa during office hours up on payment of non-refundable fee of
Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr) for the bid document.
3. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond amount of birr 50,000 (Fifty
Thousand Birr) furnished by certified cheque (C.P.O) issued by a
domestic Bank in the name of the Jimma University so as to reach on
or before August 27, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. local time.
4. The
delivery place is at Jimma University main campus store and price
should be set accordingly.
5. Bid
reply shall be put into the tender box prepared for this purpose at
the Jimma University main campus,
purchasing main division office at Jimma Town on or before August 27,
2008 at 10:00 A.M. local time. Bids received after the closing time will be automatically
rejected.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives on the same date August 27, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. local time in the Jimma University Senate Hall.
7. Jimma University reserves the right to
reject all or parts of this bid.
