1. The
federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia the Ministry of Health
intends to purchase Motorcycles and Bicycle for Ladies financed by
the fund received from Government of Spain.
2. The
Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the supply and delivery of motorcycles and Bicycle for Ladies per
the following summery.

Bidders have option to bid for anyone or more of the items of
the specification.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from supply and
finance Department.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application and upon payment of
a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (One Hundred Birr).
6. Bidders
are required to submit with their bid copy of renewed license,
clearance from Inland Revenue, VAT registration certificate and a
copy of registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the office indicated on number 4 above on or
before 2:00 P.M. 27 August 2008 and must be accompanied by a bid
security of 2% of per bid amount in the form of C.P.O. or Bank
Guarantee. Insurance Department. Ministry of Health Head Office,
Woreda 3, Kebele 53, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
8. Bid
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at 2:30 P.M. on 27 August 2008, at the office of supply
and finance Department. Ministry of Health Head Office, Woreda 3,
Kebele 53, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
9. The
Ministry reserves the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
