NOTICE OF TENDER FOR
RECONSTRUCTION WORKS AT
KAHSAY ABERA HOSPITAL, HUMERA
TIGRAY REGIONAL STATE
A fire at Kahsay Abera Hospital, located in
Humera, Tigray Regional State, destroyed a main
block, including the Laboratory, Pharmacy, X-ray facilities,
Out-Patient Department and other areas. Crown Agents (the
“Employer”) has been contracted to rehabilitate the destroyed
facilities. Contractors with the following qualifications and
experience are invited to collect tender documents from the address
below between Wednesday 6th and Friday 8th,
August 2008.
Construction Contractors of Category
GC5 and above or BC5 or above.
Prior experience in the renovation or
reconstruction of public buildings, preferably hospitals.
Prior experience of construction in
remote areas of Ethiopia, preferably in the Humera locality.
A copy of the
renewed license will be required to collect a tender document. On
submission of an offer, a Bid Bond in the form of a CPO to the value
of 50,000 ETB, will be required.
A compulsory
site visit for all contractors that intends to submit offers, will
be held on site at Kahsay Abera Hospital, Humera, Tigray Regional State on Wednesday 13
August 2008.
The basis for
evaluation will be in accordance with US Government procurement
regulations (FAR Title 48), and will be a 2 stage evaluation
process. The estimated projected value of this contract is between
US$ 500.00 and US$ 1 Million.
